Campo Materia is an outdoor collection of planters, tables, and seats that originates from the fusion of wrought iron and compacted stone. It arises from the encounter between Dante Negro and La Pietra Compattata, under the creative direction of Margherita Rui.
After the last sound, after the rush, after closing the door. After the gesture. After the strike. After the flame, and the pressure, and the time passed. After the shape has taken form. After the stone has yielded to its new nature. In the middle, between what has been and what is yet to come, a space has opened. It’s not empty. But full of substance. A field. Like a square patch of cultivation, patient with the movement of the working hand. Like the campi, the squares of Venice, tucked amidst the houses but bustling with life. A space designed to slow down, to breathe, to contain silence and roots. This is Campo Materia: a landscape to inhabit.

A modular system: free, dynamic, vital. From the initial module, the planter, Campo Materia has emerged: a move that has transformed the environment into a landscape. A gesture that shapes the space and defines its boundaries, where each configuration whispers stories of tranquility and harmony.
